Add to that "Hidden Figures" about three Black women who helped launch the space program in the '60'a and who were members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
You also must see "I'm Not Your Negro" a documentary based on a powerful unfinished book by James Baldwin.
Plan to visit the Walters Art Gallery on the 16th to discover the previously overlooked figure of a Black sailor in the foreground of a painting by John Scarlett Davis.
The daylong market at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum on the llth runs from 10am-5pm and will feature Black memorabilia, arts and crafts, jewelry, stamps and more. Get autographs from Negro League baseball players and Tuskegee Airman and sit in on a panel discussion about Harriet Tubman as well as a talk from a Malcolm X collaborator.
